Current problems of international adoption

At the moment, the legal regulation of cross-border adoption is of particular importance. This article analyzes a complex of problems of international adoption, such as the abolition of adoption, insufficient state control, mediation. The legal regulation of the adoption by foreign citizens of children who are citizens of Russia is considered. On the basis of the study, the authors draw conclusions about the need to improve the measures that should be taken by the state in the field of child protection.
