Personal data as an element of an intangible property right

The article examines the legal nature of personal data in the context of civil law. The author considers the possibility of qualifying data as a special intangible asset, pointing out their dual nature: connection with personality and participation in property turnover. Theoretical and applied regulatory problems are highlighted, and directions for legal modernization are proposed. The analysis is based on modern scientific positions and law enforcement practice.
