Topical issues of prevention and fight against crime: Russian and foreign experience of legal regulation

In the article the peculiarities of organized crime, with particular emphasis on the scientific substantiation of conceptual and categorial apparatus. The author analyzes the definition of the term, tracing its history from the pre-revolutionary period up to the present time, and they considered the Russian and foreign experience in the prevention, management, and legal regulation of organized crime.
