Current problems of application of recognition measures in the criminal process

The article considers the institution of preventive measures. Based on the analysis of the data of the Judicial Department, it is concluded that such preventive measures as house arrest, bail and imprisonment are the most frequently applied. There are difficulties arising from the application of house arrest, bail and imprisonment. The conclusion is made and the need to reform the criminal procedure legislation regarding the institution of preventive measures. Keywords: criminal trial, preventive measures, detention.
