Current problems of prosecutor's supervision in the Russian Federation

In the system of state power, the Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation occupies a special position. The federal law “On the Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation” establishes the concept of the Prosecutor’s Office, according to which it is a single federal centralized system of bodies that carry out, along with other functions, primarily supervision of compliance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the implementation of laws in force throughout the Russian Federation. The most important aspects of the successful implementation of prosecutorial supervision and other activities of the prosecutor’s office are the strong knowledge of prosecutors and their assistants, as well as the specifics and features of the versatile work of the prosecutor’s office, the application of their powers to specific areas of activity by prosecutors, the ability to correctly organize work on the assigned sites on a scientific basis, MAS tactics and techniques for carrying out about resort supervision and other activities. To date, prosecutorial supervision continues to be an independent legal phenomenon, different from other types of control activities. However, it can be noted that during the implementation of prosecutor’s supervision on the territory of the Russian Federation, a number of organizational and legal problems arise that reduce its effectiveness. Therefore, this article deals with the relevance of the topic, and also shows the most important problems. In addition, ways to solve them are proposed.
