Actual problems of prosecutorial supervision over legality of local self-government’s normative legal acts

Creation of the efficient system of supervision over legality of local self-government’s normative legal acts is the important state objective promoting defense and implementation of local selfgovernment’s rights, guaranteed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation. The main amount of local self-government’s illegal normative law acts is revealed by prosecutor’s office. The paper is devoted to actual problems of prosecutorial supervision over the legality of local self-government’s normative legal acts. The author proposes the introduction of changes in the legal regulation of the prosecutor’s office activities on the issues of provision legality at the level of municipalities.
