Current problems of counteracting cryptocurrency pyramid activities

The article examines the features of the functioning of modern financial pyramids and identifies specific schemes for their construction using cryptocurrencies. The author comes to the conclusion that such schemes do not always have significant differences from the schemes of classical financial pyramids, but the architecture of constructing crypto-pyramids has fundamental features due to the use of blockchain technology. Believes that it is necessary to create a legal regime in which the possibility of such activities will be minimized, and to provide effective liability measures for persons organizing cryptocurrency pyramids and those participating in them.
