Urgent problems of organizing psychological work at the law enforcement bodies of the Russian Federation (review of coordination-methodical board data)

The article considers the ways of developing psychological work at law enforcement bodies, suggests improvements on methodical and organizational legal fundamentals of professional psychological selection basing on the results of personality professional modelling, psychological (psychophysiological) examination of law enforcement officers from the main departments and divisions of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. The paper discusses the experience of organizing psychological work at the territorial divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, including the work done for providing security of large-scale international and mass sport events. The focus is made on the necessity to critically estimate the draft of the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on changing the forms of statistics accountability related to law enforcement psychologists’ activity.
