Current trends in the development of corporate sports abroad and their implementation in the Russian Federation

Corporate sports as a specialized area of mass sports is rapidly gaining popularity all over the world. Initially, attention to physical activity in enterprises began to be paid in the United States of America, then this method of motivating and retaining employees in the company began to be used by the economic leaders of European countries. The study revealed the following trends in the development of corporate sports abroad: active introduction of corporate sports programs at a mandatory level for enterprises, based on increasing the importance of uniting employees of the organization and instilling in them the values of a healthy lifestyle; personalization of corporate services in sports, providing employees with a wide choice of programs implemented by the company as part of corporate social responsibility, where everyone can find a way for self-improvement and relaxation from the work process. Based on this, corporate sports trends abroad were identified. Firstly, the scaling of the corporate sports movement, as evidenced by the regular creation of new leagues, federations, teams, bringing them to the standards of professional sports. Secondly, the need to train highly qualified personnel specifically for this area: judges, managers, trainers, etc. Thirdly, an increase in the pace of infrastructure construction, since an increase in interest in corporate sports entails the emergence of new participants in the movement, for training and competition between which a special corporate sports infrastructure is required. Fourthly, drawing up a unified calendar plan for mass sports events of a separate organization / federation, as well as a city / region / country with the inclusion of competitions among company personnel. Fifth, it is necessary to take into account the growing fan base of corporate sports teams, which can become an alternative way to promote corporate sports in general. Thus, this article reveals the essence of the main trends in corporate sports abroad, revealing the degree of their influence on the formation of the corporate sports movement in the Russian Federation.
