Legal clinic of the Kazan Law Institute of MIA of Russia: current issues

Introduction: the authors present the analysis of the activities of Legal Clinic of the Kazan Law Institute of MIA of Russia; generalize the the practice of assistance to citizens; highlights challenging issues of the activities of the Clinic, presents recommendations on the regulation and improving the activities of the Clinic in light of legislation changes and ways to support for free civil legal services to the low-income citizens. Materials and Methods: the authors used statistical, analytical, system and structural, and logical methods. The materials of the study were statistical data on Legal Clinic of the Kazan Law Institute of MIA of Russia from academic years 2019/2020 to 2021/2022 as well as public data of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan. Results: the authors concluded that functioning of legal clinics to the departmental educational organizations of the higher education, for example, in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, reinforce the practical component of cadet training. Discussion and Conclusions: the article presents activities carried out under functioning of Legal Clinic of the Kazan Law Institute of MIA of Russia aimed at improving the implementation of free legal assistance to the low-income citizens.
