Evidentiary force of forensic psychophysiological report: current issues

The article reveals opposing scientific points of view concerning theoretical and practical provisions of the forensic psychophysiological examination as evidence in a criminal case. On the basis of judicial practice, an ambiguous position is analyzed in relation to research using a polygraph. Based on the facts, the author formulated conclusions about the significance of this expertise with crime and the prospects of its use as evidence in a criminal case.
