Recent issues of linguistics of text in works of scientists at samara philological school

The article presents an overview of the most up-to-date research of Samara linguists who focus their work on the modern developments of text linguistics. The survey includes studies of speech manipulations in political discourse, information codes of prognostic texts, linguistic and cognitive features of media texts, analyses of recent kinds of texts (paratextual elements of scientific works, application forms, instructions, electronic dictionary), semiotically complex types of text (art commentary on paintings, tourist guides).
