Actual issues of liability for violent legislation

The norms of federal laws, by-laws and legal decisions are analyzed to identify legal uncertainties and gaps in forest legislation. The main types of liability stipulated by the forest legislation of the Russian Federation and legal problems arising in the process of consideration of disputes related to compensation for damage to forests are considered. The author concludes that from the decision of the question of the legal nature of liability for violation of forest legislation, it depends which law, civil or environmental, will have priority in the regulation of such relations.
