Topical issues of transferring ownership of land plots to citizens in the Far Eastern and Arctic territories

Ensuring the dynamic strategic development of the Far East and the Arctic is currently one of the key directions of the state policy of the Russian Federation. The development of these regions is hindered by pressing issues such as the decline in natural population growth and migratory outflow. To address these issues, the state programs «Far Eastern Hectare» and «Arctic Hectare» have been developed and implemented. The article examines the main differences between these programs and reviews some examples of law enforcement practices in providing land plots to citizens.
