Current issues of legal regulation of personal data of employees

The article reflects the main aspects of working with personal data of employees in labor law, and describes the requirements for their use. As part of the study, an analysis of judicial practice of use of employee personal data was carried out. Also discussed are current issues affecting the liability of subjects of labor relations for violation of the rules for processing personal data. Despite the fact that the legal regulation of workers’ personal data and their protection has been regulated, there are, in the author’s opinion, certain gaps that require improvement. In this regard, proposals are being formulated, taking into account which will allow employers to more effectively organize work to protect the personal data of employees.
