Current issues of modern heritage studies

The article analyzes scientific publications of the XX-XXI centuries devoted to topical issues of historical and cultural heritage and the problems of the formation of new directions of its research. The attention of scientists was focused on rethinking the phenomenon of cultural heritage, the system of views and ideas about it, expanding the typology of heritage, methods of its study, terminological apparatus and tools, developing the theory of the "social dimension of heritage", re-evaluating the practices of its preservation and "international regimes" of use.
