The algorithm of the diagnosis and differentiated treatment of posttraumatic cervical myelopathy

The etiopathogenetic situation was revealed which led to formation of clinical symptomatology for treatment of 182 patients with cervical myelopathy of different genesis. Among the patients 97 ones were with posttraumatic myelopathy and the others - with various neurologic manifestations of cervical osteochondrosis. The normative urodynamic parameters of fetal lower urinary tract were studied with dependence on gestation periods. The algorithm of the diagnosis of the reflex and compression syndromes of cervical myelopathy was created on the basis of up-to-date methods of examination. The algorithm allows to select the proper tactics of treatment, that in its turn contributes to increase the number of positive outcomes in majority of patients. The developed technique of the direct electrostimulation of spinal cord gives the possibility to optimize to a great extent the results of treatment for cervical myelopathy of posttraumatic genesis.
