Peripheral cords are included in the front and back structures of the networks of the space reflector with the cablemesh deployable structure. Functions of peripheral cord is tensile of cords of network structure during the reflector deployment, and providing the uniform tension distribution of the cords in the inside front and back structure. Because of the complexity of the construction scheme of the considered space reflector, the choice of geometric shapes and the tensile force in the peripheral cord is not trivial. To solve this problem, the authors have developed an algorithm for constructing a peripheral cord.
