The article is devoted to the development of an algorithm for preliminary processing of the image of tube products for determining the potential marking zones for their further localization and recognition. Tubes in the control points are shifted by the transport mechanism to the roller table. During the shifting and movement along the roller table, the tube make rotates, during which it is necessary to identify the tube passing the control point, i. E. recognize the inflicted marking
