Algorithm of engineering competence-oriented working programs for baccalaureate disciplines

An algorithm for designing competence-oriented working programs, on the example of a baccalaureate discipline “Microprocessor Technology” mastered in the process of getting a baccalaureate degree in “Computer Science”, is proposed. The importance of orienting on the set of key and professional competences developed by means of the studied discipline is stressed. Considering one of the competences mastered during the course of studies final and ongoing educational outcomes are planned. Efficiency criteria and assessment forms helping to evaluate the level of targeted competency development are proposed. The module structure, topical content of the discipline, educational technologies inclusive of assessment techniques employed in the process of training are presented. A description of the study guide for “Microprocessor Technology” discipline is provided.
