The algorithm for calculating the rate constants of chemical transfers in the hydrosphere is described, using geoinformation system, which allow for spatial differentiation in this subsystem, in calculating the chemical load. In assessing the transfer of chemicals, multifactor dependencies were taken into account, including the properties of chemicals, transport conditions in various environmental subsystems and geographic features of territories, etc. The algorithm was designed taking into account the use of two large data groups: global databases containing the necessary data for the entire globe with a cell pitch of 0.5 ° × 0.5 ° and data obtained using empirical dependencies. The developed algorithm allows us to take into account the spatial differentiation of the residence time of the substance in the environmental subsystems when compiling global estimates at the level of the world, those of a particular country or a region.
