The article discusses the sequence of professional competence improvement of geography teachers by means of new resources. The author reveals the three components of ICT-competence that are correlated with the three consecutive stages of the professional competence improvement. The steps of the algorithms for the formation of each component are spelled out; the ways of interactive learning and network interaction for improvement of the professional competence are considered.
