Algorithms and JS codes for solving the first problem of dynamics of angular manipulators in X3D
The goal is to develop algorithms and codes in JavaScript (JS) to solve the First DynamicProblem (FDP) of angular Manipulation Robots (MR), modeled in an extensible markup language for three-dimensional virtual worlds (X3D). The research methods relate to the mechanics of Body Systems (BS), system analysis and robotics. The results of the study contain mathematical models for solving the FDP in the form of direct recurrent formulas for calculating the absolute angular velocities, accelerations and linear accelerations of the poles of MR bodies, inverse recurrent formulas for calculating the main vectors of forces and moments of forces, as well as the driving moments of forces acting in the articulated nodes of MR. These formulas are given the types, for the numerical implementation of which it is sufficient to use the methods of JS objects such as SFVec3f and SFRotation, which made it possible to obtain short JS codes for calculating the listed quantities. Two methods of generating and storing input and output data are proposed. The first one is based on the external X3D prototyping mechanism. In the second case, the data is declared in the interface part of the node Script. Both methods, as well as their various combinations, make it possible to create, store, supplement and expand input, intermediate and output data for solving various problems of mechanics and control, in particular, for formulation and numerical solution of FDP. Using examples of parameterization of the MR drive and the adaptive PID controller for Specified Body Movements (SBM), a method for expanding and supplementing input data is described. To test the developed JS codes, the well-known Equations of BS Dynamics (ED) with one and three degrees of freedom, as well as the ED of a dynamically balanced system of six bodies, were used. Conclusion. The obtained results are used for X3D prototyping of MR in the “SisTel” software system, designed for digital modeling of MR, which are part of robotic technological complexes.
