Belarus belongs to the countries with high violent mortality rate which caused by high level of alcohol consumption per capita. The present study focused on spatial regularity in violent mortality in Belarus over the period 1980-2005. The findings suggest the stable south-north gradient in BAC (Blood alcohol concentration) - positive violent mortality in Belarus, with the growth rate in a northerly direction. There are reasons to believe that alcohol is one of the important factors of spatial regularity in violent mortality in Belarus.
