Alcohol dependence as a personal variant of autoagression (review of literature)

This article provides an overview of current data concerning self-destructive behavior; considers the issues of terminology, the data on gender differences of suicidal activity, as well as statistics on its prevalence. We describe the main etiological factors, clinical signs of autoagressive behavior. The article considers the main ways of prevention of suicide, special attention is paid to the relationship presuicidal behavior and alcohol dependence.
