Allelopathic activity of aromatic plants in system plant-soil-microbial cenosis

The review of literature data and the author's observations devoted to allelopathic activity and tolerance of plants agroecosystem is presented. The characteristic of basic directions of investigations of aromatic plants is given. The paper deals with the analysis of complex estimation of allelopathic activity of aromatic plants in the system plant-soil-microbial cenosis. The brief characteristics of main directions of investigations and results of these researches are done. Topicality of the problem is evident because of unfavorable ecological situation. The ways of practical use of allelopathic features of aromatic plants are outlined.
