Allusion in the works of Ch. Aitmatov

The article examines the phenomenon of allusion in the works of Ch. Allusion is considered as an artistic and stylistic device, its role in creating intertextual connections, in constructing a plot and deepening the narrative, in deepening the ideological content of works is analyzed. Allusive connections between mythical, religious, historical and socio-political contexts in Aitmatov's works are considered. The writer's skill in depicting the inner drama of the characters, the philosophical basis of the works, social life through the use of allusions was also interpreted and analyzed. The article is researched using literary analysis, historical-comparative method and methods of textual analysis.
