In this article the themes and issues of the stories of international writers have been compared: «The Last Tour» by Dergeley Maskina and «The Released Arrow» by Valentine Shulbaeva, their typology and poetics have been revealed. The feature of the stories is in the plot, idea and genre. The poetics of original and its translation are compared in the article.
