Alternative practice of assessment of social inequality as threats to the economic security of the Russian Federation

Achieving a successful result in the field of reducing social inequality, the negative consequences of which are one of the most pressing threats to the economic security of the Russian Federation today, should begin with the use of a diverse comprehensive methodological apparatus for assessing social inequality. The article examines the existing alternative practices for assessing social inequality of the population based on Russian statistics.
