The paper deals with the history of creation and publication of the first translations of A.M.Remizov's novels in English. The author considers the collaboration and interpersonal relationships between the Russian writer and the prominent British people: H.Williams, J.Cournos, J.Harrison, H.Mirrlees, and etc. The research is based on reviews, literary critics, books, published in Russia and abroad, and also on archival data (A.M.Remizov's correspondence, articles and papers).
