This paper analyzes antiquities dated to 2800/2750-2200/2100 BC found at the Pomeranian sites of Pribrezhnoye, Ushakovo-3 and Ushakovo-1 in the context of their links with to the Globular Amphorae culture (GAC). Materials the origin of which is, potentially, linked to the GAC are singled out and analyzed in detail. Changes in the ornamentation and the shape of the vessels are described in accordance with the development stages of the Pomeranian culture that have been singled out. Presumably. there existed various kinds of relations. including exchange marriages. between the population of the coastal areas and the GAC communities. As a result. links between the two cultural communities throughout the most part of their existence have been clearly identified. However. the «amphora» component. though quite stable. was not widespread enough to represent the entire spectrum of the Pomeranian cultural complex components noted for its very distinct features.
