Statement of the problem. The relevance of this work is conditioned by the specific features of analyticism in the modern Russian language. Analytical constructions in colloquial speech have no systemic syntactic restrictions: they are sentence members, word combinations, and non-membered sentences. The methodological and theoretical basis of the study are the works of the classics of Russian linguistics - A. A. Potebnya, V.V. Vinogradov, N.Y. Shvedova, A.N. Gvozdev, P.A. Lecant, A.P. Skovorodnikov, etc. The main methods of research are linguistic and philological analysis of the fiction text, structural-grammatical and functional-semantic approaches to the subject of study. The purpose of the article is to describe productive analytical constructions in colloquial speech, which is a dominating type of speech in the idiostyle of V.M. Shukshin’s stories The research results show that the functional-semantic division in colloquial speech does not always correspond to its grammatical division, i.e., the intention of speech is “wider than grammar”. On the one hand, this enhances the expressiveness of utterances, on the other hand, it causes the phenomena of analyticism. Such inconsistencies are the result of creative rethinking of linguistic means and carry a great semantic and stylistic load.
