The article assesses the current state of the mechanism of administration of customs payments in the Russian Federation, highlighting the main development trends and current problems. Particular attention is paid to problems arising in the framework of creating a single mechanism for administering the customs, tax and tax system, as well as marking and traceability of imported goods by the Federal Customs Service of Russia and the Federal Tax Service of Russia.
