Analysis of Khorezmian architectural monuments base Don features of fortification

The empirical model of fortification system based on statistical analysisof Khorezmian archaeological monuments was developed. The proposed modeldetermines the optimum of the average distance between towers depending on the size ofthe monument and its geometrical plan. The verification showed that fortification canondoes not change over time and buildings follow it from the ancient times to the late middleAges. The monuments, which do not correspond to the proposed model, have somefeatures and may be the subject of a special investigation. Statistical analysis suggeststhe presence of a universal module of distance in the architecture of fortification, whoselength is approximately 10 m. It corresponds to the length of 10 “gases” in Khorezmianmetric system.
