The study shows that school-age children in the villages of On-Besh Jash, Ak-Terek and Salamalik have a high prevalence of dental caries, with the main problems associated with complicated caries. Most children require treatment, mainly during the period of mixed dentition. Analysis of fluoride levels in drinking water in these communities showed fluoride levels below recommended standards. These results highlight the need to develop comprehensive programs to improve the dental health of children in these villages.
