This article is devoted to the analysis of the problem of human self-organization in the era of Antiquity. The analysis of this problem is made on various points of view of the philosophers of the ancient world. The article concluded that in the ancient period there were different approaches to the development of personality, but at the same time, thinkers expressed the conviction that each individual may well achieve spiritual perfection.
