In clause(article) the analysis of a demographic situation is lead(carried out) by the example of the Nizhniy Novgorod area for the period with 1989 on 2005, characteristic tendencies of modern demographic processes are tracked. The basic attention is given to the author to the analysis of dynamics(changes) of death rate of the population of various age, sexual and social groups during the various periods of last 15 years.
