Analysis of the dynamics of marriage and divorce in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) from 1980 to 2019

The paper presents an analysis of the main indicators of demographic processes in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), in particular, marriage and divorce rates from 1980 to 2019. The dynamics of the number of marriages and divorces is shown, and the general rates of marriage, divorce and stability of marriages are calculated. The structural analysis of the age of men and women who entered into marriage and dissolved it is carried out. It was concluded that the average age of marriage has increased. The research shows that the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) follows the general trend of marriage and divorce rates in the Russian Federation The results obtained in the course of the study can be used for developing a competent socio-demographic policy in order to solve problems with the reproduction of the population in the region.
