Analysis of diversification of logistics services in transport companies of Russia and Kazakhstan

The concept of diversification is considered for companies in the field of logistics at various levels, which becomes an effective tool in the face of growing competition and is based on various scientific approaches, reflecting the diversity of views of scientists. The definition of the most common concepts in Russian economic literature is given. The characteristic of the main types of diversification and its types is presented. It is shown that railway operators need to provide related services and integrated solutions in the logistics sector, in addition to the main operating services. The main trends in the diversification of services in the transport companies of Russia and Kazakhstan are analyzed.
