Analysis of ESG transformation of the world and Russian economy: directions of government activity in the field of sustainable development

This article examines the advantages and prospects of sustainable economic development and the implementation of ESG principles in business processes and production. It analyzes the volumes of the global and Russian market of financial instruments in the field of ESG and draws conclusions about the development of sustainable investments in the future. The presented research analyzes Russia's position on the world stage in terms of implementing ESG principles in the economy and stimulating ESG investments, identifies directions for state activities and its role in ensuring economic sustainability and expanding the ESG industry, and offers recommendations aimed at stimulating sustainable development and ESG investments in the Russian Federation in new geopolitical conditions.
