Analysis of factors affecting mergers and acquisitions in Russia

The article is devoted to identifying factors that affect mergers and acquisitions. Data analysis is carried out for Russian companies from 2013 to 2019 using the construction of an econometric model with fixed variables. The hypothesis about the impact of the country's economic condition on the number of mergers and acquisitions is tested. The novelty of the work is that in addition to traditional factors, the impact of oil prices and sanctions on the number of mergers and acquisitions is checked.
