Analysis of physical indicators of water quality water supply systems of the Penza region

Pollution by industrial and domestic wastewater, the use of fertilizers and pesticides, animal waste are the main anthropogenic factors affecting water quality. The purpose of the work is a comparative analysis of physical quality indicators (temperature, color, smell, taste and aftertaste, transparency) of the main sources of water supply in the region. The results showed that the water of the Penza reservoir and the Sura River has increased color. The temperature of only well water is within the normal range. The remaining objects of the study meet the standards for all quality indicators, and can be used to ensure a safe drinking regime for residents of the Penza region.
