Analysis of characteristics of water-ring vacuum pumps of high-performance

The purpose of this article is to analyze the dependnce of the performance, power and energy efficiency of a water ring pump on the rotor speed. The concepts of isothermal efficiency were used. The initial data were the results of factory tests of high-performance pumps, which are publicly available. The dependences of the consumed power, efficiency, and performance of the ELROS-20/34 pump on the inlet pressure at different rotor speeds are obtained.
