Analysis and new trends in using neural networks and artificial intelligence in modern higher education systems

The main purpose of the article is to analyze the existing practices of using adaptive learning systems in education and build a conceptual model, taking into account the peculiarities of “Online” learning. In accordance with the goal, the following tasks are set: 1) to develop adaptive platforms used in “Online” education systems; 2) determine the role of the teacher in adaptive learning and the possibility of replacing it with artificial intelligence; 3) propose an adaptive learning model. The theoretical basis of the research is based on a complex of scientific positions of scientists in the field of "Online" education and artificial intelligence. Theoretical methods were used to analyze and generalize existing intelligent systems for adapting the learning process, as well as the methodology of data processing algorithms used for this.
