Analysis and estimation of the number of banks with foreign participation in the Russian banking system

The article presents an analysis of banks with foreign participation in the Russian banking system. The paper analyzes indicators that characterize the number of non-residents, as well as indicators that characterize the participation of non-residents in the total capital of the banking system. The factors that influence changes in these indicators are given. Given that foreign capital is a source of new technologies and banking products, its presence in the national banking system will promote competition and, consequently, the development of the Russian banking system and the improvement of banking.
