The article presents the analysis of the Russian tire industry market and the economic evaluation of the competitive environment of industry enterprises. Based on evaluation methods, the degree of market concentration and the amplitude of its fluctuation are revealed. The methodology of the proposed assessment identified the companies that are leaders of the industry market. The main evaluation methods were the market concentration index, the Herfendahl-Hirschman index, the dispersion index, the amplitude of the market share fluctuation.
