Analysis and prospects of the expert activity of the Federal Customs Service of Russia

The article examines the activities of the Central Forensic Customs Administration (CEC), which is aimed at identifying offenses related to the declaration of goods, as well as the payment of customs duties and the legality of the movement of such goods. The article presents an analysis of the main indicators of interaction between the CEC and customs authorities, as well as the effectiveness of customs examinations and research at the present time. In conclusion, the main prospects for the development of the institute of customs expertise and the conclusions of the study are presented.
