Analysis of inflation expectations of the Russian population

The article presents the results of the statistical analysis of the heterogeneity of the population of the Russian Federation in reference to inflation expectations. The analysis is based on the interpretation of the three probit models, specifying the influence of a number of individual respondent features on the probability of price growth expectations the next one or two months. The analysis showed that the heterogeneity of the population in reference to inflation expectations is determined by the age of the individual, his/her education, amount of family income, the number of teenagers in the family and the type of employment of the breadwinner.
