Analysis of the IT market under sanctions pressure

Information technologies form the basis of the modern information society, thereby creating the IT market. According to a new survey hold by IDC Global CIO Quick Pulse, which was attended by more than 60 technology leaders around the world, 57% of respondents say that they are reviewing their technology spending plans for 2022 due to the unstable geopolitical situation, and 10% expect significant adjustments to their ICT investment plans.[1] The article examines the impact of sanctions pressure from Western countries on the Russian IT market, the study conducts a sample of recognizable IT companies and analyzes the prices of companies' shares (exemplified by the wireless telecommunications sector). The dynamics of changes in the shares of the wireless telecommunications sector by companies is studied. The dynamics and trends showing a decline in stock prices at the time of the start of the special operation are revealed.
