Analysis of the language situation among the indigenous peoples of the north of the Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous okrug-Yugra (based on monitoring materials in Khanty-Mansiysk and Surgut)

This article analyzes the state of the language situation among representatives of the indigenous peoples of the North, based on the results of monitoring studies on the example of the cities of Khanty-Mansiysk and Surgut in 2019. The subject of the study is the socio-economic status of the native language in the perspective of the social consciousness of the indigenous peoples of the North. The relevance of the study is due to the insufficient knowledge of the functioning of the languages of the CMNS in the Russian language environment.
